Newsflash: The City gives a positive response to our request for Safe Passage for Pedestrians on 100 South and South Temple!

Last week the City Council approved capital improvement projects through out the city including several that respond directly to our request for safe passage across the arterial streets that run through East Central. The City Council allocated:

$50,000 to provide for installation of pedestrian-activated flashing LED warning lights at crosswalks on 100 South at 1000 & 1200 East for neighborhood safety and accessibility
$180,000 To design & construct a new traffic signal where none currently exists on 1100 East & South Temple
$150,000 for Paver Crosswalk Reconstruction on South Temple- 200 West to 1300 East and 100 & 150 South Main
